FRACC, in partnership with The Narrows Center for the Arts and Fall River Public Schools, presents the SouthCoast Creative Arts Lab — a dynamic afterschool program designed to inspire and empower 7th and 8th-grade students in Fall River Public Schools.

The Arts Lab provides a safe, welcoming, and vibrant space for youth to gather, explore, and develop their creative talents in the visual and performing arts. Through immersive, interactive lessons in movement, music, and art, students can collaborate, energize, and express themselves while nurturing their passion for the arts.

Program Overview

The SouthCoast Creative Arts Lab is an afterschool Art and Music program for 7th and 8th grade Fall River Public School students. The program takes place at The Narrows Center for the Arts. Students are provided with free snacks and transportation from their middle school to the Narrows Center and back home.

Each semester, 24 students are accepted into the program to work in smaller class sizes on creative and engaging art and music lessons. Each day begins with a movement/yoga/zumba session. An all student showcase occurs at the end of each semester for parents, friends, and people of the Fall River community.
