Through this initiative we spark a synergy and support the sustainable growth of art and business in Fall River. We focus on important areas that help local artists and entrepreneurs thrive through no-cost education.
This program is financed, in part by Bristol County, through the American Rescue Plan Act and is made possible through the collaboration of Fall River Arts & Culture Coalition (FRACC) and Assets for Artists (A4A).
Planning With Your Whole Self In Your Art Practice” With John Vo
Saturday, June 22, 2024 from 1:00 - 5:00 PM (IN PERSON)
Wednesday, June 26, 2024 | 6:00 - 8:00 PM (on Zoom)
The Ignition Space, 44 Troy St Unit#2, Fall River, MA
This is 2-part series (4 hours in person + 2 hours online). Artists are asked to attend both sessions.
This workshop will tackle the following topics: MISSION invites artists to consider the central reasons why they make art, what drives them, and what values they wish to center in their practice and their lives. MONEY begins to tease apart the sticky questions of how to make one’s practice sustainable and how different forms of income can support one’s broader work. TIME interweaves all of these and considers strategies for structuring one’s life to make space for creating in harmony with all the roles in one’s life.
